On YouTube the trailer is titled ‘teaser’ but it may not be, it could be a teaser trailer thought because instead of saying a specific date the movie is coming out it just says ‘coming soon’ which will leave the audience in suspense, wanting to know when the movie is in fact coming out.

The main character does the voice over which seems to be quite regular in most teaser trailers I have seen, also the sound seems to progress in pace, at the beginning the music/sound is very slow and then as the trailer goes on it gets a lot heavier and faster and turns into rock music at the beginning, there is a pause before the rock music kicks in which causes suspense as if to say ‘oh my god, what’s happening now’ and then it kicks in and you’re like ‘wow’ the rock music seems to provide me with a cool heroic sort of vision in my mind. Like whenever I hear that type of music I think of heroes and powerful beings. Most sounds in the trailer are diagetic.

There is a very faint blur which seems to be blacked out around the edges of the screen which create a sort of ‘fish eye’ effect only without magnification. There are blurred images; slow cuts go in time with the slow paced music and then when the rock music kicks in the cuts become a lot more fast paced.

There is a POV at the beginning which makes you feel as though you are the character. A lot of long shots and mid shots, close ups on objects of significance such as a gun, and the main characters, his hands glow when he’s using his power, this shows the sci-fi aspect of the movie.

You get the feeling that this is a heroic type of film, and just by watching you get the image it’s a sci-fi and wouldn’t happen in real life like his hands glowing where his power would come from.
